HIGH END® 2016: The Audio Event of the Year, Part 1

Where do hard-core audio geeks like us go to get the most definitive view of what’s coming for audio in the next few years? We pack our passports and head to Munich, Germany, where the HIGH END® Audio Show brings the audio industry together each year.

This popular fair, held this year in May at the massive MOC Munich conference center, traditionally opens to the audio trade for one day, then opens to the public for the rest of the weekend. HIGH END® brings together the latest and greatest technology for music and media entertainment for everyone!

Visitors to the HIGH END® show don’t simply walk around and view exhibits. They get to listen, look at, and touch the latest audio equipment. From tubes to signal processors, turntables to hard-discs, all of the latest audio equipment is there to crank up and try out.

Visitors can test the latest headphones and listen to experts talk about the latest technology in sound. There’s also a wide variety of equipment for television and movie fans, too, featuring the newest innovations in high resolution TV and equipment that brings you the ultimate in-home “movie theater” experience.

Naturally, an important exhibition like HIGH END® brings out the heavy-hitters in the audio industry. NAD, Ayre, Audio Research and Vandersteen are four brands we’re keen on that had a strong showing of products at the exhibition (we’ll talk about that in depth in our next blog post) alongside brand names such as Pioneer, JBL, and JVC.

Trade and media visitors from all over the world get to see these innovations before anyone else, and their discussion and reviews of future audio developments are eagerly read and viewed by the public.

So in order for us to bring you the latest in audio technology and enjoyment, we’ve been following the breaking news from HIGH END® 2016. The best in your listening experience is yet to come! Stay tuned for reviews on some of the new products we’ve discovered. In the meantime, come in and see us in Buckhead or give us a shout out on Facebook or Twitter!
