Hifi Buys Ribbon Cutting and Open House
Did you miss our ribbon cutting and open house? No worries!! As you may have read, June 9th was our day to officially announce to the community of Buckhead that we are back! In business!
Last Tuesday morning was unbelievably special to the team–not only because of your support, but because of two special guests that helped us cut the ribbon. Our first guest was Mel Silverman himself, the founder of the original Hifi Buys. It’s been a great honor to have his support while we resurrect the HiFi name and legacy. In addition, we were thankful to have additional support from Mr. Sam Massell. He was Atlanta’s mayor in the 1970’s when HFB first opened, and he’s considered the unofficial “Mayor of Buckhead. “ It was good to have these special guests help us cut the ribbon!
It truly was an incredible day as our loyal customers and first-time buyers mingled at the new, state-of-the-art showroom, located adjacent to the original HiFi Buys store on Peachtree Road in the Buckhead Village area. Some of our guests also scored some free swag, like a Rega turntable, headphones from NAD Electronics, and PSB speakers. Best of all we were humbly able to make our first sale!
We are thrilled for the road ahead to the Grand Opening Celebration in September. As we say around here (pun intended) stay tuned! We’ll have more information on our Facebook, Google+ and Twitter pages, so be sure to follow along on our social media!
