Ed Scruggs

Ed Scruggs knows high fidelity. As a salesperson with HiFi Buys, Ed helps customers engineer the best sound systems possible for their audio needs. He’s got plenty of practice to back this up, as he previously was President of Sound and Cinema/Audio Solutions for over 25 years.

He comes by his work and love of all things audio honestly. As a child, he would watch his grandfather, who was a ham radio operator, assemble radios from kits. His grandfather also built a stereo system with a turntable, preamp, amp and speakers, which was Ed’s introduction to high fidelity sound. Ed’s appreciation for music came as a result of having played trumpet and guitar in his youth. Though he admits he wasn’t very talented, it did give him a deep appreciation of music and those who can truly perform.

Ed lives in Peachtree Corners with his beautiful wife Sherry. Their son, his wife and their two boys live in California and Ed and Sherry venture to see them as often as possible. Away from the store, he loves to indulge in his favorite hobbies of golf and digital photography.
