As General Manager for HiFi Buys, Chris Doughty revels in helping customers discover how technology can give them a better sound experience. Unlike some of the other HiFi Buys team members, he was a relative novice to audio when he first began working with the group. But once he met Alan, he discovered a newfound appreciation for high-quality audio technology.
Chris specializes in smart home programming, home network design and setup, and provides general troubleshooting for all manner of technology needs that customers bring to his attention.
Though he was born in Hammond, LA just outside of New Orleans, Chris is definitely a Georgia boy at heart, having moved to Atlanta when he was 5. He is a huge fan of the Atlanta Braves (he boasts a Braves tattoo) and loves watching just about any sport that is on TV. He is an active participant and fundraiser for St. Baldrick’s Foundation which funds research to cure childhood cancer, and shaves his head every March during their “Rock the Bald” event.
