Introducing Bowers & Wilkins 600 Series Anniversary Edition

Since 1995, Bowers & Wilkins has poured their passion for performance and their love of music into everything they do, from their most affordable loudspeakers to their studio-quality 800 Series Diamond range. Over a million satisfied customers had their first experience of Bowers & Wilkins sound thanks to a pair of 600 Series loudspeakers. Now, as their 600 Series turns 25 – they are celebrating in style with the release the seventh generation of their affordable and iconic best-selling range.

Designed to look beautiful

The 600 Series Anniversary Edition introduces a new Oak finish. These complement the existing matte black or matte white finishes, and all models also feature a new celebratory Anniversary Edition logo inscribed on the tweeter surround. This metallic component is offered in either a light or a dark finish depending on the color specified for the rest of the loudspeaker.

Engineered for better sound

In addition to the finish upgrades, 600 Series Anniversary Edition benefits from upgraded acoustic performance. New and greatly improved bypass capacitors are used in every model, in every capacitor position on every crossover. The capacitors have been specially treated by Mundorf and were originally used for the recently launched 700 Series Signature range. In addition, the main high-frequency and mid-frequency capacitors have been upgraded with new, improved designs. The result is greatly improved resolution and transparency across every model in the range.

Launched with a variety of options

The new range includes ‘S2’ specification Anniversary Edition versions of the 607, 606, 603 and the dedicated HTM6 center channel speaker, while the existing ASW608, ASW610 & ASW610XP subwoofers continue unchanged. The 5.1 AV package will include the 603 S2, 607 S2 and HTM6 S2 Anniversary Edition speakers, partnered by the ASW610 subwoofer.

We are more than happy to tell you more about this great new series and show you just how fantastic these speakers are. Stop by the store or call us if you want to order your very own!
