Bowers & Wilkins 702 S2 Floorstanding Speakers

Bowers & Wilkins : 702 S2

Let’s talk about the level of detail in the accuracy of these amazing floorstanding speakers by Bowers & Wilkins. The 702 S2 is in a class of its own, competing only with its colleagues within the series. With all of us being inside our homes, watching live concerts in our living rooms has become a regular activity. Watching a movie with a pair of these are completely immersive, you feel like you’re right there with the protagonist along for the ride. We’re so happy to have a pair in-store, personally i find myself in front of them as often as i can.

The Advantage it has to deliver studio reference sound can be unforgiving, at the same time being a disadvantage depending on the listeners preference. I listened to the newest album from Kid Cudi “Man on the Moon 3” (Qobuz : 24bit 44.1khz) and the highs and midrange frequencies were dynamic. I did end up adding a JL Audio sub to it to fill those low ends i was missing. But, when i listened to the new soundtrack from Disneys newest animated movie “Soul” (Qobuz : 24bit 96khz) oh my god. The piano notes sound so alive coming out of the 65 lbs beast of a speaker.

In result, you get exactly what you pay for with this pair coupled with a great amplifier, you’ll love them for a very long time. Come down here to the Store and Hear them for yourself.
